Welcome to my new blog.....Before to After (And Everything in Between!) To get us started on what I am sure is going to be a long and fun filled friendship, I want to share with you my biggest makeover of this week- a faded out, rickety, wicker rocking chair.
Here is the before....
As you can see, the once lovely lady is in pretty rough shape!
Looking up a little after the first coat of red spray paint....
And finally (3 cans of spray paint later!) here she is in all her red glory...
And to top it off I sewed this cute pillow trimmed with white rick-rack!
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, keep or sell at my upcoming yard sale, but now that its done I am pretty sure I couldn't tear myself away from her even if I tried. She and I will spend our early mornings together, sipping strong, hot coffee, listening to the birds chirp and the seagulls squawk, looking out over the bay, enjoying the rare, quiet moments of life!
